Registering for First State Bank’s On-Line Banking at Account Opening or enrolling online only takes a few minutes of your time.

Once the Online Banking registration process is completed at any branch location you will receive a “Welcome E-Mail” to continue.

Log on to www.firststatebk.com

Once you’ve entered Your USER NAME (Never Changes) a Security Code will be sent to your mobile device (that is registered with the bank) by text or phone call. Once accepted, you will be prompted to type in your password. You’ll enter the password that was given to you or chosen by you at Enrollment. The online system will prompt you to change your temporary Password to a Permanent Password.

Detailed criteria are required such as…………the password must contain at least 12 characters,
(1) must contain lowercase letters and a minimum of (1) uppercase letter
(1) must contain a number and
(1) must contain a special character, such as a $, #, *, %,!.

Once this series of letters, numbers and special characters are approved, your password has satisfied the security password system. This will be your password until you request it to be changed. The system will allow you to move forward with your online inquiries. If answered incorrectly, the system will allow 3 attempts, then it will de-activate the account. At this point, a call must be made into your local Branch Representative to re-activate the account. Your account will be re-activated and / or you may change your password at any time.

The Convenience of On-Line Banking offers the following:

• Information and access to all accounts (checking, Savings, Certificates of Deposits, IRA’s and Loans) at First State Bank

• The ability to View all checks written on accounts (front & back)

• The ability to Transfer Money to and from accounts

• The Ability to Pay Bills (one time or recurring) confidentially (with confirmations)

• Bill Pay relieves the consumer from purchasing costly paper checks

• The ability to view and print 24 months of Bank Statements

• The ability to change addresses, phone numbers or e-mail addresses

• The ability to place a Stop Payment on a check

• The ability to order checks confidentially and privately

• The ability to send messages to the bank with returned bank responses

• The ability to utilize Calculators for a retirement, mortgage, savings, or loan product.

Via First State Bank’s On-Line Banking, the On-Line Banking System allows the customer the Flexibility to download the Monthly Statement into QuickBooks, MS Money and other Money Management applications.
